Air dried date powder is a natural sweetener made from 100 % dried dates which are grounded into a course, granular or finer powder. No carrier is added. Dates have been used in Middle Eastern cuisine for thousands of years. Worldwide, dates are also long known as a sweet snack, loaded with nutritional benefits. Date powder is a fairly new application. The product is natural and unrefined and can be a substitute for processed sugar from beets or canes. Date powder is brown in color and sweet. Because the entire fruit is used the product in addition has a high content of dietary fiber.
